ODAC Celebrates Youth Advocacy Month: Empowering Young People to Save Lives
New York, NY - Organ Donation Awareness Corporation (ODAC) is proud to announce that May is Youth Advocacy Month (YAM), a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of young people in promoting organ donation and saving lives.
Two years ago, throughout May 2021, ODAC highlighted the stories and efforts of young advocates who are working to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and encourage others to become registered organ donors. From organizing donor drives and awareness campaigns to sharing their personal stories and experiences, young people across the country are playing a critical role in addressing the organ shortage crisis and saving lives.
We are excited to announce the return of Youth Advocacy Month. This May we will focus on showcasing the remarkable work and inventive contributions of young individuals to society. As our organization has grown we are excited to celebrate a major milestone of youth excellence. We are excited to celebrate the youth with our partners at CGI U and many others! The objective is to bring attention to the efforts of groups led by youth, encourage others to get involved, and exhibit the transformative impact that can result from the collaboration of young people.
